BARB IS RETIRING! The day we have all been dreading is coming - Barbara Stout-Henggeler ("Barb") has announced her retirement. Her last day on Team Purple will be on December 23rd. Though we are sad to lose her, we are also very happy that she is about to start a new and exciting chapter in her life. We know she is not only very special to Progressions Credit Union's Board, Management, and Staff, but she is special to our members with whom she has developed relationships with for the past 37 years. Barb truly exudes the Credit Union philosophy of "People Helping People" and has lived the Progressions Credit Union mission of providing exceptional service with every interaction. Some of you may remember Barb from when she started here as a Teller, later becoming a Financial Service Representative and in more recent years being promoted to Member Solutions and Business Development Specialist. No matter her title, what has never changed is her passion for the credit union and service to our members. Barb has guided so many members through their various life stages - whether it was helping a young member get their first car loan, helping new grandparents open accounts for their grandchildren, or comforting a mourning member who has experienced a loss, she has always treated members like family. Here is what our CEO, Susan Vuong, has to say about Barb: "Throughout Barb's years of service, she has been an ambassador for the credit union and a friend to staff and members alike. I have had the honor of working closely with Barb for 10 of her 37 years with Progressions Credit Union and I have witnessed the empathetic and caring way she interacts with our members, day in and day out. We all are much better representatives of Progressions Credit Union thanks to Barb's example. Her time here will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have experienced working with her and be touched by her warmth. She will be greatly missed, but we celebrate her well deserved retirement!"Be sure to check out this LETTER FROM BARB to you, our members.
We invite our members to stop by and congratulate Barb at her Open House Retirement Event, which will be held on December 7, 2021 from 1:00 - 4:00PM at the credit union. Refreshments will be served.*Feel free to send notes of memories with Barb to be displayed at the event, if you wish.
